Workshops at ACRL 2019 in Cleveland

April 12, 2019 Cleveland 08:30 AM

Join ACRL staff and members of the Project Outcome for Academic Libraries Task Force on Friday, April 12 at the ACRL conference to learn how to use the new toolkit.

In this workshop attendees will learn about the new Project Outcome for Academic Libraries surveys and resources. Project Outcome is a free toolkit that helps libraries measure four key learning outcomes – knowledge, confidence, application, and awareness – across seven library program and service areas. This new toolkit will provide academic libraries of any size the means to easily measure the learning outcomes of their programs and services and to use that data as the basis for improvements and advocacy.

  • Find out how Project Outcome can help you measure meaningful learning outcomes in academic libraries.
  • Learn about using the Project Outcome for Academic Libraries toolkit, from administering surveys to visualizing results.
  • Get tips on how to put your data to work in improving library services and advocacy.

Workshops start at 8:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 3pm, and 4:15pm in Room 19 and last for 1 hour.

Presenters include staff and members of ACRL's Project Outcome for Academic Libraries Task Foce: Eric Ackermann (Radford University), Jennifer Arnold (Central Piedmont Community College), Greg Davis (Iowa State University), Sara Goek (ACRL), Tiffany LeMaistre (Nevada State College), and Emily Plagman (PLA)
